AJ Limos provided luxury wedding car services at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa to a wonderful couple getting married. Both Groom and Bride were wearing beautiful wedding clothes. They looked perfect together, a match made in heaven and getting married at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa.

According to AJ Limos high service standards, we reached forty minutes before the agreed journey of life starts. Mr. Ahsan was on the chaffier seat driving, EBW Rolls Royce. We must mention here, although we only provide travel services on the big day. We feel we are part of the wedding memories and we make sure these sweet memories stay forever with our customers.

History of The Mere

The superb venue is so good that we can write a book. however, we have taken some text from the venue website to introduce you to this heavenly place.

“The Mere was purchased in 1983 by Stephen Boler, who throughout the 1970’s sold cut-price tyres and exhaust systems. His kitchen business, Limelight Kitchens and Bathrooms sold for £40 million and is now the group which owns Kitchens Direct and Moben Kitchens.

Stephen was once the largest shareholder in Manchester City FC and owned a game reserve in South Africa.

He spent many years enhancing the membership at The Mere Golf and Country Club, focussing on the customer experience and creating what was once known as the premier country club outside of London.

He handed The Mere over to his son Mark in 1994, before sadly passing away in 1998.

The Mere has now been owned for 35 of its 82-year history by the Boler family.

In 2010 Chairman Gary Corbett joined the Board of Directors and The venue was finally granted planning permission to develop accommodation on site.

In 2011, a brand-new Health Club and Spa was unveiled by Sir Alex Ferguson.
